We will collect a variety of information about your case history, including personal information, and medical history, what we call anamnesia. An assistant will accompany you during this process. The collected information will be examined by Dr. André Robidoux who will then determine the number and nature of X-rays to be taken.
The clinical investigation
An X-ray technician will proceed using X-ray analysis assisted by X-rays and moving radiology. These will then be analyzed by Dr. André Robidoux and explained to the patient.
The Diagnosis
With the results obtained during the clinical investigation, Dr. André Robidoux will establish a diagnosis. An accurate diagnosis is imperative. Therefore it is important to use high technology detection tools.
Computer-Assisted Treatment and variable geometry spinal decompressionTM
Once this step is completed and the patient has been informed of his/her condition and the diagnosis, Dr. Robidoux will suggest a personalized treatment protocol to the patient, in which computer-assisted treatment and/or variable geometry decompressionTM will be considered as a treatment method.
Chiropractic adjustment with the aid of a percussor is painless, fast and completely safe. The treatment takes only a few minutes. A spinal decompression session takes place in a private room and lasts for 20 to 30 minutes. Many patients take advantage of this therapy time to relax and take a short nap.
The results
Improving the state of your health and quality of life depends on many factors, such as: Your general health, family history, daily routine, the rhythm and regularity of your treatments.
Let's take two individuals with the same problem :
- The first smokes, does not do any regular physical activity, consumes a great deal of coffee and alcohol, and only comes occasionally to his treatments.
- The second does not smoke, does some regular physical activity, drinks a glass of wine from time to time and adheres to his treatment schedule.
Wich one do you think has a better chance of improving his condition? To ask the question is to answer it [...]
A patient's expectations may be legitimate but they are sometimes excessive. Miracles and desperate causes do not fall within the scope of the chiropractic profession and you have to give it time, but how much?
How much time ?
Nobody knows. Not even your chiropractor. In our clinic, we often compare it to a diet. Who can tell how much time you will take to lose those extra 15 kilos% That will depend on many factors, physical activity, occasional cheating, the number of diets tried in the past, your basic metabolism. It is the same thing with chiropractic care. Time is on your side. Let it work for you.
