X-Ray Appraisal

Any new patient* who comes to our clinic will be given a detailed X-ray analysis. This analysis consist of X-rays and video fluoroscopy (moving radiology).

All X-rays are immediately analyzed in great detail by Dr. Robidoux, and in the following weeks, by Dr. Peter L. Kogon, chiropractor, D.C, former professor of chiropractic radiology at the Université du Québec in Trois-Rivières (UQTR). Dr. Kogon is a leader in radiology analysis and his expertise and knowledge are undeniable assets for our clientele.

What is chiropractic and how does it work ?

The chiropractic field is strictly scientific. The diagnosis put forward by Dr. Robidoux relies mainly on X-ray analysis and nothing there is more rational and logical than an X-ray. Chiropractic treatment cannot do anything for people who maladies such as diabetes, cancer, acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS), coronary disease, renal insufficiency or tumours.
THE CHIROPRACTIC FIELD IS NOT A PANACEA.

There is no place for miracles in chiropractic treatment. The only miracle, if there is one, is the smile on a satisfied patient in good health. Fortunately, this little miracle happens often enough.

In brief, we can say that chiropractic is the science that treats neuro-musculo-skeletal symptoms such as headaches and chronic migraines, general back pain, arthritis, arthrosis, sciatica and herniated discs, by acting relentlessly on the structure of the spine and its function. The basic principle of chiropractic is that pain is the direct result of a poorly broadcast nerve impulse (short circuit) caused by a vertebral displacement.

As a result, if the performance of the nervous system - the body's "electrical system" is disrupted, it is highly possible that there will be a series of syndromes and problems in the future.

Since the vertebral column and the nervous system are interdependent and inseparable, the same way that your teeth are to your gums, the malfunction of one will certainly affect the other's function as well. If a patient has a vertebral displacement in the cervical region, it is not uncommon to experience a variety of syndromes such as headaches, blurred vision, dizziness or buzzing noises in the ears.
